Welcome to the Industrial Economics Division within Nottingham University Business School. Our research activity tends to be, in the main, applied or policy oriented research and covers areas such as: industrial economics; managerial economics; the economics of risk and insurance; the economics of tourism, and financial economics.

Our Division makes an important contribution to teaching within the School both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, particularly in areas such as: industrial/managerial economics; quantitative methods; the economics of risk and insurance; and banking and finance

As well as contributing to a wide range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, the Division also offers a BA in Industrial Economics

A number of our staff members have held governmental advisory positions and/or have undertaken research work commissioned by various government departments and the private sector.
