The first Thursday of every month (6-8pm) presents a wonderful opportunity to meet up with like minded people interested in discussing social, ethical or environmental issues. Everyone is welcome - students, professionals, academics, volunteers - young and old.

From 4th October 2012 the Social Drinker moves to the Mezz Lounge, upstairs at Broadway, 14-18 Broad Street, Nottingham, NG1 3AL!  The Mezz Lounge is accessed through the Mezz Bar on the first floor.

Broadway Cinema/Cafebar has two lively bars, a menu that is a mix of world flavours and favourite recipes and a regular selection of great night-time events.  The Broadway serves main meals and snacks until 9pm every day.  Last orders at the bar is midnight on Thursdays. 

You'll find Broadway on Broad Street in Hockley, Nottingham's cultural quarter,  just five minutes' walk from Market Square and close to all the city's main bus stops.   The railway station is ten minutes away on foot and there's a tram stop in the nearby Lace Market. 

Dates

Dates for 2012/13 are: 4 October, 1 November, 6 December, 3 January, 7 February, 7 March, 4 April, 2 May, 6 June, 4 July, 1 August and 5 September.

Please note that social drinkers are welcome to continue to meet throughout the year, however ICCSR staff may not be present in January, August or September.
