Globalisation and knowledge appropriation within an African context
This project examines the challenge of globalisation and the management of human resources with an initial focus on Kenya.

Africa-China business investments and relations
This project considers the nature and scope of Chinese investments in Africa. Chinese state-owned enterprises and private firms have in recent years expanded their operations in various parts of Africa, particularly but not limited to infrastructural construction, mining, textiles, and trading.
We are interested in their strategic interest in Africa, the challenges they face operating in Africa, the nature of work relations, cross-cultural issues and human resources, business ethics and corporate social responsibility.
