CHILL is home to one of the first Executive Healthcare MBAs 

 

Our expertise helps increase the knowledge and skills of healthcare leaders and professionals.

The Executive Healthcare MBA

Our Executive Healthcare MBA (accredited by AMBA) and part of the Business School's MBA prgramme, provides experienced middle and senior service leaders and managers with world-leading education in business and management.

The course includes modules in:

  • accounting and finance
  • marketing
  • strategy and leadership
  • people management

Specialised modules led by CHILL help apply these generic issues to the contemporary challenge of healthcare leadership and change, especially in the areas of commissioning and economics, service redesign and ethics and governance.

In collaboration with external healthcare partners, we have developed bespoke teaching and learning in areas including: 

  • culture change
  • strategic leadership
  • mergers and partnership
  • improvement science
  • evaluation methodologies

We work with the Haydn Green Institute to support the Ingenuity Programme. This has recently been delivered with Nottinghamshire Healthcare Foundation Trust leading to highly praised innovation in service delivery.

CHILL collaborates with partners to offer a new, cross-disciplinary Masters degree in Quality and Patient Safety Improvement.

The programme is designed to offer those working in health and social care the opportunity to develop greater expertise in quality and patient safety, with learning directly applied to practice.
