Research

Our research-led, evidence-based teaching is underpinned by quality research.

Our collaborative approach to research results in projects being led by members of staff who work with visiting academics, PhD students and external research partners.

Our current research themes are based around:

We pride ourselves in the quality of our research. Much of it is published widely and we regulalry contribute to distinguished management, social science, business and society and business ethics journals. 

The broad academic backgrounds of our staff span specialsims including business ethics, business & development, professionalism and CSR, markets and democracy, and sustainable supply and value chains. Our research informs best practice in business, government and civil society.

Much of our research is carried out in partnership with a network of international visiting professors and fellows. We share our knowledge and expertise at conferences, annual symposiums and workshops.

We bring an international perspective to CSR which includes a focus on CSR in Africa and wider globalization.
