The International Association for the Study of Insurance Economics (the Geneva Association) is a unique world organisation comprised of a maximum of 80 CEOs from the most prominent insurance companies in the world. Its main goal is to research the growing importance of worldwide insurance activities in all sectors of the economy, and to act as a catalyst for progress.

The Association of British Insurers represents the collective interests of the UK's insurance industry. The Association has around 400 companies in membership, which provide over 97% of the insurance business in the UK. The Association speaks out on issues of common interest; helps to inform and participate in debates on public policy issues; and also acts as an advocate for high standards of customer service in the insurance industry.

The Centre for Risk and Insurance Studies is a research centre based at the Nottingham University Business School. Centre staff are involved in a variety of research initiatives, and teach on all the School's undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.
