The New Language of Leadership

Develop a unique and authentic leadership identity

Understand what it takes to become tomorrow’s leader today

The Nottingham approach to leadership development presents just such an alternative. By drawing on, and integrating, a range of perspectives – from management and education best practice, psychology, Eastern and Western philosophy, systems thinking, action and narrative enquiry and scenario planning – individuals are challenged to robustly test and examine the values that shape their leadership practice and are supported in creating their own unique and authentic leadership identity.

This two-day programme will equip you with a greater understanding of what constitutes an effective leadership style to meet today’s – and tomorrow’s – challenges.

The banking crisis has undermined much of our current thinking about leadership and drives us to re-examine our taken-for-granted assumptions about the nature and tasks of leadership. We are left with key questions: How have current models of leadership failed? What kind of leadership do we need for the future? How should we develop future leaders?
