Research Topic:
Investigating the case for gendered CSR in agricultural supply chains

Research Details:
I am investigating the business and development case for gender mainstreaming in CSR programmes in the developing world. That is, what are the tangible benefits for a company attempting to improve women workers' experience of the supply chain? On the other side, how can CSR promote better working conditions for women workers? Can CSR go further and promote women's empowerment and combat gendered poverty?
