Small serial innovators in European markets for technology

Research Details:
The current research project endeavours to investigate the presence and the characteristics of small serial innovators inside the European system of innovation. In particular, the framework of markets for technologies, where these companies may act as specialized suppliers of intermediate inputs, provides the rationale for the analysis of the factors, both internal and external to the enterprise, that influence whether small firms can be serial innovators or not, and their potential and peculiar role as drivers of innovation
