Research Topic:
Exploring the link between Social Responsible Investment and responsible behaviour of companies

Research Details:
At the core of the growing CSR industry are organisations producing CSR metrics (indices & reporting tools) that support the development of markets (CSR rating, audit or certification) that contribute to corporations becoming more accountable. Currently there is limited research that has investigated the influence of CSR metrics on corporate behaviour
The purpose of this research is to fill this gap by analyzing the influence of CSR metrics on responsible behaviour and practice. The project investigates how, why, and to what extent, a specific category of CSR metrics (indexes) are influencing corporate behaviour. It will focus on the 'CSR financial indexes' such the FTSE4GOOD in the UK, the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in Europe and the Domini Social Index in US.
