Research Topic:
Constrasting narratives of corporate entrepreneurship - a critical examination of the Entrepreneurial University.
Research Details:
The doctoral study asks a) how a sense of legitimacy for Corporate Entrepreneurship (CE) is constructed within different university contexts? And, b) what does this tell us about the current and future state of Higher Education in the UK?
The study builds on and contributes to the work in the field of CE and Strategic Entrepreneurship (SE). Departing from the common application of institutional theory in the entrepreneurship domain - it considers the process of institutionalisation as potentially an enabling rather than a constraining one.
