Research Topic:
The social sustainability of heritage visitor attractions interpretative technologies and the younger generation

Research Details:
My study aims to explore young visitors' experiences at HVAs and the impact of interpretive methods that incorporate technology. Of particular interest will be the social sustainability of tourism through the transfer of knowledge from the HVA to the young visitor.

It is believed that differing attitudes in Scotland and Japan towards visiting HVAs and the approaches of HVAs to interpretation will provide interesting comparative analysis.
