Application of Supply Chain Management Principles and Their Effect on Technical Efficiency and Business Performance the Case of Sri Lankan Textile Industry ( yet to be finialized)

Research Details:
Textile and clothing had plaied a very important role in Sri Lankan economy. But, after the Multi Fibre Agreement (MFA) it has been reduced significantly. Therefore, the country is in a serious need of increasing productivity to success in the global market.


The literature discloses that technical efficiency and supply chain practices play the important role in improving productivity. Therefore, the purpose of this study is "Application of Supply Chain Management Practices and their Effect on Technical Efficiency and Business Performances the case of Sri Lankan Textile and Garment Industry"
CurrentTeaching: Currently I am not doing any teaching. But, I am very much interested in teaching as I am a lecturer attached a national university (University of Sri Jayewardenepura) in Sri Lanka.
