Professor Jeremy Moon - Research
Current Research ActivitiesHaving just completed our Corporations and Citizenship (CUP 2008), Andy Crane, Dirk Matten and I are working on a number of papers which emerge from and extend the themes in the book. These concern the contribution of corporations to global governance and how corporations act in ways which resemble governments.
These themes overlap with some other collaborations. Nahee Kang, Jean-Pascal God and I are working on a comparative approach to the these of CSR and government. I am also preparing papers on corporation and lobbying of government with Glen Whelan, Stephanos Anastasiadis and Michael Humpherys.
Glen Whelan, Marc Orlitzky and I preparing a special issue of the Journal of Business Ethics on 'Spheres of Influence / Spheres of Responsibility: MNCs and Human Rights'
Judy Muthuri and I are completing our third report for the Charities Aid Foundation on Corporate Community Investment and preparing papers on this topic.
I am working on various aspects of CSR education, including an analysis of trends in Europe and innovative pedagogies.
I am editing two collections of papers. The first, with Glen Whelan and Marc Orlitzky, is on Corporate Governance and Business Ethics for Edward Elgar. The second is the Routledge Major Work: Corporate Social Responsibility with Jean-Pascal Gond.
Finally, Wendy Chapple, Jean-Pascal Gond and I are preparing a CSR text book for Pearson.
