| Module Content: Heritage and cultural tourism are major growth markets within tourism and present a variety of management and marketing challenges. The module will address the special characteristics of heritage and cultural tourism, types of heritage and cultural tourism, consumer perspectives and expectations, the development and management of heritage sites (planning, carrying capacity, interpretation) and the generic marketing issues relevant to both culture and heritage. The module will make extensive use of case studies to highlight good practice. |

| Module Assessment: Individual Mid Assessment (1,500 words plus 20 slide Powerpoint Presentation) (30%); Individual Final Assessment (6,000 words) (70%) |
