| Module Content: The course will be delivered through a combination of interactive lectures (where group discussion will be encouraged), case studies and more formal group-based seminar sessions. Also at the end of the week participants will be asked to make a small individual presentation based around assessing the causes and consequences of any one real world crisis of their choice |
| Module Aims: This module considers the issues and problems that arise in the introduction and operation of a crisis management programme or business continuity plan by large financial and non-financial companies. It will introduce participants to the underlying rationale for crisis management and business continuity initiatives both from a theoretical and professional perspective. In addition we will look at and assess the processes by which a crisis management programme or business continuity plan can be implemented |
