Simon Ling
MBA Entrepreneurship, Class of 2009
Following a career in Defence and Aerospace strategy and an extended career break, I decided to study for a general MBA at Nottingham University Business School to gain access to new strategy opportunities in other industrial sectors.
After a short period on the programme, and as a result of my career break, I decided to change the focus of my programme and transferred to MBA Entrepreneurship. This move really opened up opportunities and I am now focused on undertaking my own business venture.
The Nottingham MBA is very challenging and builds a well-rounded knowledge in numerous business disciplines as well as improving time management and group working skills. During my time I've found the faculty very supportive and the facilities provided for up and coming entrepreneurs have been first rate.
I've enjoyed my time on the Nottingham MBA programme and, although it proved to be extremely demanding, the benefits gained have far outweighed the commitment. I'd recommend the Nottingham MBA to anybody.
