Business School expert to evaluate Government health and safety reforms
Government reforms of the UK’s system of health and safety and their effect on business are to be evaluated in a two-year study.
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) has commissioned experts at The University of Nottingham to explore whether reducing regulation would help businesses to prosper, without harming the health and safety of their employees.
Expert in occupational health and safey, Dr Aditya Jain, Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Nottingham University Business School will lead the team alongside Dr Stavroula Leka, from Nottingham's Institute of Work, Health & Organisations.
Health and safety and its implications at policy and practice levels have come under close scrutiny by the current Government.
