Deborah Roberts is an Associate Professor in Marketing/ Innovation at the University of Nottingham and teaches on both post-graduate and undergraduate courses. She also teaches on the Executive MBA in Singapore and in the UK, and is involved with Executive Management Development in China. Deborah's research interests are in new product and service development, including using social media, co-creating value with consumers, co-development and market learning for innovation. Deborah has worked and conducted research within the FMCG and retail sectors, high technology and financial services. Her publications appear in the Journal of Product Innovation Management, R&D Management, European Journal of Marketing and, International Journal of Market Research, Deborah in an AIM scholar and a member of the, Product Development Management Association in the USA and Europe, and the European Institute of Advanced Studies in Management (EIASM) Product Development Group in Brussels. Deborah obtained her PhD from the Cranfield University School of Management, where she was involved in establishing the New Marketing Research Group. Prior to this, Deborah pursued a career in marketing within the retail FMCG, and leisure sectors. During this time she gained membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and MBA from Durham University Business School.

New product and service development and innovation management: Co-creation and co-development with consumers, Market learning for innovation, Market and technology visioning.
