International Human Resource Management

Module Content:
This module aims to provide students with a critical understanding of the context, strategies, issues and key debates of International Human Resource Management (IHRM). Areas covered include: Globalization and HRM; HRM in Multinational Companies; HRM in emerging economies.

Module Aims:
To introduce students to the concepts and key debates in International Human Resource Management; To analyse how culture and institutions affect HR policies and practices

Module Assessment:
Individual Coursework (2,500 words) (50%); Group Presentation (20 mins including Q&A) (15%); Unseen Assessment (Individual Assignment, class based) (35%)
