Information Systems and Operations Management Research Dissertation

Module Content:
Students will research and prepare an individual dissertation on an approved subject relevant to the MSc in Information Systems and Operations Management. The dissertation will emphasise leading edge thinking in theory and practice of the subject, through critical awareness of current published research and research methods. The dissertation topic selected must demonstrate a significant focus on Information Systems as judged by the Course Director.

Module Aims:
Develop the ability to undertake independent research in the area of informations systems and operations management.
Develop the ability to carry out research of a nature appropriate to the Masters programme in Information Systems and Operations Management with respect to concepts, approaches, methods or techniques in Informations Systems.

Module Assessment:
12,000-15,000 word dissertation (100%)
