Marketing for Entrepreneurial Firms

Module Content:
An understanding and familiarity with marketing theories and marketing techniques are fundamental to the success of entrepreneurial activities. While many entrepreneurs do marketing intuitively through a process of trial and error, a thorough grounding in marketing is a decided advantage. This module will explore the nature and role of marketing in contemporary society. Furthermore, the module will emphasize the role of marketing in new product and new business situations as well as dealing with the marketing issues and opportunities faced by more mature organisations.

Module Aims:
Aims to explore the nature and role of marketing in contemporary society. It will emphasize the role of marketing in new product and new business situations, as well as dealing with the marketing issues and opportunities faced by more mature organisations. To introduce students to traditional and contemporary conceptions of marketing. To enhance students' practical understanding of the role of marketing in contemporary business. To familiarise students with marketing techniques and processes.

Individual Coursework (5,000 words) (100%)
