Accreditation

The Business School's BA Finance, Accounting and Management and BA Management Studies degrees are currently accredited so that graduates can obtain exceptions from certain papers within the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Professional Examination Scheme, the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales Professional Stage, and the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Certificate in Business Accounting.

The exact exceptions obtained are determined on an annual basis in assocation with each professional body. Current students should consult Nexus for the exact exceptions obtained for their graduating cohort on their degree.

Students taking our other degrees may obtain professional accounting body excemptions for individual papers if they have taken sufficient module combinations.
