Description

CHILL and HPOM Collaborative Research ConferenceThis collaborative research conference is organised by the Health Policy, Organisation and Management (HPOM) and aims to critically reflect on health service research and proactively consider ways to collaborate to build and shape future research agendas.

The themes for discussion during the conference are:

  • quality and safety
  • professions
  • integrated care
  • hybridity

Group discussions addressing these themes will be used to direct collaborative discussion and shape future collaborative working opportunities. There will be an artist present to capture a storyboard of group discussions.

The Health Services Management Centre (HSMC) at the University of Birmingham and the Centre for Health Innovation, Leadership and learning (CHILL) at Nottingham University Business School received funding from the Birmingham - Nottingham Strategic Collaboration Fund to develop a Health Policy, Organisation and Management (HPOM) network for research and practice. The HPOM network aims to:

  • identify and engage all those carrying out health service research at Birmingham and Nottingham
  • enhance communication and promote shared research
  • actively promote the relationship between research and practice across HPOM

All are welcome to attend the conference including PPI representatives. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and travel costs can be reimbursed.

The conference is free to attend. Register now to secure your place.
