nubiz Bulletin

Aug/Sep 2015

Welcome to the latest nubiz e-bulletin with all the latest news, developments and events from the Nottingham University Business School alumni community.

Another very busy couple of months have past since our last e-bulletin, wow doesn't time fly! We would like to congratulate all our students who graduated at the summer ceremony in July and officially welcome them to our alumni community.

Many of you have asked us why we don't run more activities in the London area so we are delighted to let you know that Jatinder Singh (
Industrial Economics, 2000) has taken on the role of London Alumni Co-ordinator already hosted several networking and social events. He is planning to strengthen the London network through professional networking, social and speaker events, so watch this space or contact him directly at jatinder.singh@lig.global if you are interested in finding out more.

If you live in the Nottingham area, here are a couple of upcoming events for your diary. On Sunday 23 August, the Life Cycle sponsored bike rides return once again, giving cyclists of all ages the chance to test their skills and raise money for a good cause so why not get on your bike to support us in dementia research. On September 2nd, Nottingham University Business School in association with local digital marketing agency Impression, is delighted to bring you a free and exclusive workshop on Strategic Social Media Marketing to build your skills and professional knowledge.

If you have any news, stories or events to share we would love to hear from you, contact us at businessalumni@nottingham.ac.uk Follow the social media icon links at the bottom of this bulletin for exclusive social media channels and join the conversation with friends, colleagues and staff.
