Recruitment events

One of the best ways to raise your profile is to hold an event where you can interact and engage with our students. We arrange a wide variety of employer events throughout the academic year, with the autumn term being the busiest period.  This includes anything from a presentation on campus to something more bespoke and tailored to your individual business needs.  All events can be advertised to all students or targeted to a particular student group.

Presentations

A presentation is usually an event where you have the opportunity to raise your profile amongst students by speaking directly to them about your organisation and graduate recruitment opportunities.  It is also a useful way in which students can find out about the culture of your organisation and what you are really looking for in suitable applicants.

Presentations can be booked for October, November, February and March.

We provide excellent conference facilities on our campus which we can arrange for you. Alternatively, once you have confirmed a date with us, you can book a local venue of your choice. We are happy to provide a list of off campus venue suggestions if required.

Drop ins

These are informal sessions where you can chat informally with our students to discuss the recruitment processes and any current opportunities within your business.

Drop ins are highly valued and are an excellent way of offering students the chance to ask questions and benefit from one-to-one advice in a relaxed atmosphere. Drop ins can be organised in our conference room (within the Centre), or in an alternative venue of your choice.

Interviews

To facilitate your recruitment from Nottingham, we can help you to arrange rooms on campus to interview your selected candidates, helping you save time and money. Interview slots can be booked during term-time all year round, however we suggest that you avoid the exam periods in January and May. Also, please note that rooms are at a premium during term time and availability is restricted, so do contact us in good time.
