Skills workshops
Skills workshops give employers the opportunity to be actively engaged with student learning and development. From providing students with an insight into recruitment processes to delivering competency based skills training, there are a range of topics to choose from.
You may wish to offer sessions on:

Who are these Skills Workshops for?

These skills workshops are open to all undergraduates and postgraduates at The University of Nottingham

They will be useful to both those who already have a clear career focus, and those who are still undecided

They are relevant to all sectors of employment, as the programme is focused on skills that are most widely recognised as key for success in future careers

You should expect an attendance of up to 40 - 50 students

Skills workshops are taken either as stand alone or as part of a skill development programme linked to our Nottingham Advantage Award

You can expect an attendance of up to 40 - 50 students of a variety of degree disciplines, year of study and degree level
