The Award now offers over 60 different modules for students to participate in.

The Award enables students to:

  • be formally recognised for their involvement in extra curricular and co-curricular activity
  • gain valuable employability skills
  • add value to their time here at the University

It can also:

  • raise the profile of the activity you are currently delivering within your School or department
  • provide a structure which is recognised across the University

visit the Advantage Award website.

Working with colleagues

We work with a range of academic schools, professional services and employers to deliver this Award and are keen to continue to expand on the number and scope of modules available for students.

If you would like specific guidance about what kinds of activity can be included and how to submit an Award module please contact us or phone +44 (0) 115 846 6445 or internal extension 66445.

Further information

The Award is overseen by a steering group, comprising senior managers and academic staff. The Award structure is supported by the School of Education, who approve modules and award credits to Advantage Award students.

Working with employers

We currently work with a variety of employers. If you would like information about who is involved or have a suggestion about potential employer collaboration, please contact us.
