Once you’ve carried out your research using this website, you may have questions related to your individual circumstances and career path. To talk to a member of staff, you can:
-
book an appointment
-
call in and use the drop-in service, or
-
email your enquiry (only for graduates or current students who live or are studying outside the area or overseas)
Appointment types
We have different types of appointments offered at University Park, Jubilee Campus and at Sutton Bonington:
-
15 minute appointments to have your CV, application form or personal statement reviewed
-
20 minute advice appointments to discuss starting points and relevant resources
-
20 minute law appointments for those considering a career in the legal profession
-
30 minute appointments for those who have had a 20 minute appointment and wish to discuss their ideas further.
Please arrive for your appointment on time. If you are five minutes late for your CV appointment or 10 minutes late for your advice appointment, the adviser will be unable to see you.
If you need help using My Career, please read our leaflet
or watch our 2 minute YouTube video! Script for video. If you are unable to access YouTube, use our alternative location.
