Have you got a business idea and need some financial support to progress it further? The Entrepreneurial Grant could get you started and you'll also received help from the University's EnterpriseLab.
To kick start your business venture, you can apply for up to £1000 in financial support from the grant plus receive tailored advice and use of the facilities at EntrerpriseLab.
What types of business ideas will be considered?
That's up to you - as long as it is:

an original idea or a substantial improvement on an existing business, and
-
your plan is realistic with a marketable product or service.
Who can apply?
Students of The University of Nottingham, who are studying in the UK, are eligible to apply for this grant. Please note that we particularly welcome applications from students who receive financial support with their tuition fees.
Please note that international students who want to apply for the grant can only use the funding to explore a business idea that is marketable in the UK. Due to your student visa restrictions you are not eligible to set up a new business in the UK.
How much is the grant?
You can be awarded up to £1000 depending on your circumstances and business idea.
The University's EnterpriseLab will also offer support with a range of services including business advice and use of their facilities if required including space with a telephone and business address.

Once you have read these, fully complete the application form and return it to entrepreneurialgrant@nottingham.ac.uk. Please note that incomplete applications will automatically be rejected.
