The Association of Art Historians (AAH) has a job vacancy section on their website.
British Archaeological Jobs Resource - includes information on job vacancies, course listing and an extensive resources section
Current Archaeology - includes information on education and careers.
Council for British Archaeology - including fieldwork opportunities, careers information, and details of regional and local archaeological societies
The Jobs Information Service provided by the Institute of Field Archaeologists (IFA), lists job adverts.
East Midlands Museums Service - includes a list of museums, galleries and heritage attractions in the East Midlands
English Heritage - training schemes and details of the Education Volunteering Programme
The Institute of Conservation - includes guidance on careers within the conservation sector plus information on courses and internships
International Council of Museums - provides a list of printed directories and websites that list museums worldwide
The University of Leicester's Department of Museum Studies - jobs database called Jobs Desk plus a Job Hunter's Guide covering application forms, CVs, letters and hot tips from Leicestershire Museums Service
The Museum Association - jobs and careers section has pages on volunteering and getting your first job. A jobs database is accessible to members.
Museumjobs.com advertises jobs in museums, galleries, libraries and archives
The National Trust - database of seasonal vacancies with National Trust properties

Information and library management

The Association for Information Management (ASLIB) - training section about qualifications
Chartered Institute of Library & Information Professionals (CILIP) - includes a jobs and careers section covering career profiles, recruitment services, job listings and salary guides. There is a specific section on graduate training opportunities including volunteering
Government Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ) recruits information specialists. Their website has details about career and job opportunities
The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centre website doesn't have a careers section but holds information that would be useful for networking and to learn more about the issues facing workers in this area
Oxford Website for Library Trainees (OWL) - this is a resource for current and prospective library trainees both within and outside Oxford

Records Management Society has a job vacancy section on their website plus a list of recruitment specialists
The Society of Archivists has information on careers in archives and records
Society of Indexers has a number of pages on indexing as a career

Patent and related work

Chartered Institute of Patent Attorney - contains careers information, job vacancies plus an online directory of patent attorneys
Inside Careers produces a booklet called Chartered Patent Attorneys that provides details of employers interested in recruiting students and graduates. Free copies are available in the Centre or you can download a copy from their website
The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys - includes a section on a career in trade marks and an online directory of practitioners
Prospects - for a professional insight into careers in this industry
The Organisation for Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (TOPRA) - dedicated sections for careers, postgraduate qualifications and a consultants directory
The UK Intellectual Property Office - includes details about working in intellectual property (IP) and current vacancies. There is also a list of other IP organisations through the careers webpage
University of Kent Careers Service - I want to work in... clinical research and regulatory affairs

LGCareers.com provides career descriptions for those jobs within local government
The National Graduate Development Programme (NGDP) is the local government management development programme with graduate opportunities and careers services
