CAS funding opportunities

The University of Nottingham has committed over £3 million to the setting up of a Centre for Advanced Studies in the Arts and Social Sciences. This building will be dedicated to creating a world-class research environment for all career stages, fostering research excellence, interdisciplinarity and engagement with external partners nationally and internationally.

In November 2009 the Research and Knowledge Transfer Committee awarded CAS an annual fund of approx £100K over 5 years to fund the following schemes:

- Post-doctoral bursaries

- Highfields visiting fellowships and

- Research Development Fund grants
