Being Human festival returned in 2015 to showcase the role that the humanities have in the cultural, intellectual, political and social life in the UK. This year's Nottinghamshire theme was 'Creative City'

The University of Nottingham, working with a range of external partners in the East Midlands, held a series of events focused on the city of Nottingham as a creative space and source of inspiration. The programme explored the heritage of creativity in the city as well as its contemporary creative culture.

 

Being Human 2015: Nottingham and Eastwood events

The 2015 Creative City theme included a long tradition of art; learning a language,learning a culture; photography and poetry; writing and performance.
