Research Fellowship awarded to CBP

The centre has been successful in an application for one of the highly competitive Nottingham Advance Research Fellowships, funded by the University's Research and Knowledge Transfer Board. 

Dr Emily Robinson, currently a lecturing fellow at UEA, has been granted a 2-year post-doc award, commencing at the start of the 2011/12 session.  Emily's project will be on 'Progress and Progressivism in Britain, 1888-2010' and she will be working closely with Professor Steven Fielding in particular, but her presence will be of significant benefit to the Centre more widely.
