The Glo-yo

The Glo-yo: a fun way for children to learn how to wash their hands and curb the spread of infection:

The product of the multidisciplinary team that Dr Kim Hardie leads (which includes Dr Joel Segal, Dr Jacqueline Randle, Prof Brigitte Nerlich and Dr Caroline Windrum from the schools of Engineering, Nursing, Psycology and the LSRI) was selected for coverage by the Evening Post on 16/7/10 when they visited the University of Nottingham Innovation Expo on 7/7/10 at Jubilee Campus.

An interview of Dr Kim Hardie by Andy Whittaker on BBC Radio Nottingham followed on 13/7/10 at 07.55, and a report by Carol Hinds (BBC East Midlands Today) was broadcast on the local television news on 15/7/10.  Heart 106 also broadcast an interview with Dr Kim Hardie and children who used the Glo-yo in John Clifford Junior School, Beeston.
