Denis Arnold Music Library

Denis Arnold Music Library supports the learning, teaching and research needs of the Department of Music. The library houses an extensive collection of music scores and a departmental music collection representative of western art music and music from world cultures.

Extended opening hours - 30 April - 16 May

The Denis Arnold Music Library will be extending its opening hours until 9.00pm on weekdays from Monday 30 April until Wednesday 16 May only . Weekend opening will remain the same. 

Revised opening hours from 18 May - 22 June

The Denis Arnold Music Library will be closing at 4.30pm from Friday 18 May until the end of term on 22 June . Thereafter, normal Vacation Hours will come in to force. 

Weekend opening will also be suspended from this date. The revised hours from this date are, therefore: 

• Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm 

There will be no weekend opening until the new academic year.

Audio visual

LPs and CDs may not be borrowed but listening and recording facilities are available. A DVD player and a microfiche reader are available in the library; a microfilm reader is a housed in a separate room in the Music School.
