Derby Medical School Library

Derby Medical School Library supports the learning, teaching and research needs of the School of Graduate Entry Medicine and Health, and the Division of Midwifery within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

It also provides a range of library and information services to employees of Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Closing procedures

Last entry to the library is 15 minutes before closing time. A tannoy is used to announce the closing procedures, starting 30 minutes before closing time.

Access

Core opening hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, access to the building is by University card or building access card. If you have a University library card rather than a University card please phone the library to enquire about access outside core hours.

All visitors to the Medical School are required to sign in and out of the building.
