Self Collection of reserved items – pilot service in George Green library

A pilot service has launched in George Green library allowing borrowers to collect reserved items whenever the library is open .  Full details of this pilot service are available on the news page . 

June Bank Holiday Opening

The library lending desk will be open over the Bank Holiday on Monday 4 and Tuesday 5 June 2012 from 9am until 5pm.

Closing procedures

Last entry to the library is 15 minutes before closing time.

A tannoy is used to announce the closing procedures, starting 30 minutes before closing time.

Please see the learning hub for details of equipment there. A microform reader-printer is available on floor D and this uses the same payment system as print, copy and scan .

Computer training room

Room B4 is available for computer training, with 34 computers and a trainer’s computer and display screen. Please email  IS George Green Training Room for information. When not booked for training, this room is made available for student use.

Learning Hub

There is a learning hub on floor B. This offers the latest facilities including flexible learning spaces with interactive Smartboards, plasma screens and computers.
