Information about the University's Walk-In User service which gives members of the public access to a wide range of electronic resources at libraries across the University. Access to the resources is limited to the dedicated computers in the libraries below:

To use the service individuals must first register by agreeing to the Walk-in User Code of Practice PDF

Unfortunately, you cannot be registered without identification. You will initially be registered to use this service for one year.
Users are expected to:

The Walk-in User service does not provide access to email or software e.g. Microsoft Office or the internet and is not connected to printers.
If you are viewing these pages off campus, you can see which resources are available through the service. Access to the resources themselves, is limited to Library premises only.

If you need any assistance with this, you can contact the library before you visit or email Walk-in-user-feedback@nottingham.ac.uk . Please provide details of the eJournals/eBooks you are interested in and we can then advise you accordingly.
Please note that we are unable to list the individual eJournal and eBook titles available through the service.
Bring your Walk in User registration form with you on each visit, this should be presented to Library staff at the service point in the library you are using.
Return the proximity device to the service point once you have finished using the service.
