The School of Physics & Astronomy is engaged in a wide range of activities designed to help get schools and the wider community involved in cutting-edge physics and astronomy. If you want to take part in any of these free programmes, or would like to develop some new activity with us, contact the School's Outreach Coordinator .
Current general programmes that we will run in 2010-2011 include:
Yr 10 and Yr12 taster days. These will include mini lectures, demonstrations and lab work. Please click on the link below for more details and contact information to book your place

We also get involved with public events, on and off campus, where there is an opportunity to showcase physics to a wider audience. Recent examples are the Nottingham Light Night and the Nation Science and Engineering Week events at Wollaton Hall.
