The work of the Astronomy and Particle Theory groups is carried out in the Centre for Astronomy & Particle Theory (Cripps building) whilst the work of the MRI group is largely carried out in the Sir Peter Mansfield Magnetic Resonance Centre; the remaining research groups work within the main Physics building. Undergraduate projects and tutorials take place in all the buildings. All members of academic staff are research active and we have a large portfolio of grants from a wide range of funding streams.
