Open Source Lab Intern wins Best Spatial Analysis Paper award

One of the Open Source Lab interns Heshan Du  has won the 'Best Spatial Analysis Paper' award at this year's GISRUK conference (GIS Research UK).  It is the second year running that CGS has won this award.

Heshan Du has also won the prestigious International Research Excellence Scholarship of the University of Nottingham to undertake a PhD at Nottingham. This will cover full tuition fees and a maintenance scholarship for up to each of the three years of this PhD programme. Well done Heshan!
