There are several documents associated with the CHDGP Project.

Plans for the Pilot Stage
This document, issued by the Information Management Group of the NHS Executive, provides information on the CHDGP Project, and the plans for the Pilot Stage.  It describes the resources that are available to assist health authorities, commissioning groups and individual practices to make full use of data held in GP computer systems.  For a complete copy, click on the 'Plans for the Pilot Stage' button under the map.

CHDGP Guidelines
The Guidelines are the 'rules' for the way in which the project is organised.   Included are security and confidentiality safeguards, data recording guidelines, and an outline of analysis and feedback procedures.  The Guidelines are organised as a series of Factsheets.  For a closer look, click on the Guidelines button under the map.

CHDGP Facilitators' Handbook
The Facilitators' Handbook was designed to help local scheme facilitators with the interpretation and practical use of the CHDGP Guidelines.  It gives some interesting insights on facilitation, as well as on ways of managing data and information in general practice.
