If you wish to apply for Postgraduate Study in the School of Chemistry, please refer to the postgraduate applications portal for general information and how to apply.

Online application procedure

The online application is the quickest and easiest way of applying to The University of Nottingham and gives you ongoing information about the progress of your application.

The Postgraduate Applications online system enables you to fill out a standard application form online and submit this to the University immediately. A major benefit of course, is that your application is not delayed in the post, and you can be assured that it has arrived safely, as we send you an automatic acknowledgement of receipt of your application.

In addition, when you have submitted your application, you can view its progress by using the tracking system online. The postgraduate applications portal also gives you extra information about Nottingham and the University.

Downloading an application form from the University's website

You can  download a copy of the postgraduate application form and send it by post to the above address.

When filling in the application form, on-line, please specify your area of interest (e.g. Inorganic, Organic or Physical Chemistry) in your personal statement.  

Please note when applying the following documentation will be required to help quicken the application process.

• Application form
• Original Transcript of Marks and Higher Education Certificates e.g. BSc/MSc.
• Two Academic References *
• Proof of English Qualifications e.g. IELTS/TOEFL score certificate.
