• Oversees the undergraduate Public Health teaching on the B.Med.Sci course, teaching the foundations of epidemiology and public health to pre-clinical students.
• Convenes a postgraduate module on evaluation techniques, which is offered as a core module on the Master of Public Health (MPH) course.
• Teaches sessions on health inequalities and an introduction to community development as part of other postgraduate MPH modules.

Current Research

Dr Myles' main area of interest is infectious disease epidemiology. Her current research area is influenza, in particular pandemic influenza. This has involved analysing data from the recent influenza pandemic to inform future guidelines on pandemic management.
