Current Research

Joanne Ablewhite's research interest is childhood unintentional injury. In particular unintentional injuries experienced by children aged from birth to five years of age that occur within the home environment.

She is in the process of completing her PhD. The title of her thesis is Parental Perceptions of Child Safety and Unintentional Injuries that Occur within the Home Environment. This is a qualitative study.

She is currently working on the Keeping Children Safe At Home from Accidents research study.
