Margaret Slack Fellowship Award

The inaugural Margaret Slack Fellowship for Academic Psychiatry has been awarded to a member of the School of Community Health Sciences, Dr Lena Palaniyappan, by The Royal College of Psychiatrists. This award will support Dr Palaniyappan’s ongoing investigations on the abnormalities of brain networks in psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia.

The award, worth £2000, was presented by Profs. Woodruff and Craddock during the International Congress of the Royal College of Psychiatrists at Brighton on 1st of July.
