Biography
Iskra Potgieter is a Research Associate for the CLAHRC- NDL "Successful Implementation of Early Supported Discharge Services" project. Her role is the collection, management and analysis of routine data, as well as identification, recruitment and assessment of stroke patients who are in hospital.
Iskra graduated from the University of Hull in 2008 with a First Class BSc in Psychology, followed by an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham in 2009. Prior to her current post, Iskra worked on another NIHR-funded CLAHRC project at the University of Cambridge, investigating health care and social services for people with learning disabilities. Over the course of her studies Iskra has gained practical experience in working with elderly patients.
