Biography

Colin Crooks completed his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) and B.Med.Sci (Hons) at University of Nottingham, before going on to receive his Diploma MRCP (UK) Royal College of Physicians and MSc in Epidemiology at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is currently taking his PhD at the University of Nottingham.

Colin Crooks is currently completing his PhD in upper gastrointestinal bleeding, involving epidemiology and observational, as well as routine databases: (GPRD) General Practice Research Database and (HES) Hospital Episode Statistics.

He is currently funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC) Population Health Scientist Fellowship.
