How research is supported in the school

Research is supported throughout the school in various ways:

NIHR Research Design Service for the East Midlands

Based within the Division of Primary Care, the NIHR Research Design Service (RDS) for the East Midlands provides high level academic support aimed at increasing the quantity and quality of health and health-related social care research undertaken.

Clinical Trials Unit

The Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) provides direct support and advice to investigators planning or running clinical trials. They have the capacity to manage several trials simultaneously, and support both University academics and NHS health care professionals.
